The goblins are taking over the world with their astute business mind, and you're tasked to set up the dungeon to be the next hottest tourist destination.
- Clean up the mess left behind by the adventurers
- Get more coins from the gold stack
- Put some more coins back in the looted chest
- Have the dungeon ready before the next adventurer arrives
- Sit back and watch the chaos unfold... again...
In the far southern land, the kings and queens from both the human race and the goblin kind held a secret meeting. "Bad for business." were the only words uttered by the Goblin King moments before the doors were shut tight for the monumental agreement that ended the fifty-year war.
The people of the Southern Kingdom knew nothing but battle. Fights and chaos spread like wildfire throughout the kingdom as the weary adventurer started to return from the faltering war efforts. Tavern fights and drunkenness were not easy to police when the mobs were well-versed in combat. Therefore, as the part of the truce, the business-savvy Goblin King proposed to restore dungeons as adventure destinations.
Hundreds of years have passed. Jason, our young goblin, was trained in acting, like many other goblins. But rather than stunt work or sword mastery, Jason studied many of the operas in town and yearned for a moment under the spotlight to move thousands of minds and make a real impact.
As Jason grows tired from his background acting role, a single slip-up has cost him his job. Given the cleaning duty, he slowly realised that with this seemingly mundane role comes the chance to alter the difficulty of the dungeons. As the procedural generative adventure gained popularity, Jason can let young and bright adventurers off the hook with ease: and torture the foul-mouthed psychopaths, without raising too much suspicion.
While climbing up the corporate ladder and managing more expensive dungeons, Jason learns of the unsettling truth from the many princesses delivered as prisoners. The continuous adventure-going culture in the kingdom was actually manufactured. Everyone were taught to be aggressive and violent, especially towards goblins, just to divert attention from the sinister plot inside the castle walls.
